Can I start without a credit card?
Yes. Start on the Free plan, describe the business process, and see whether Metatable can turn it into a useful spec and app path before you pay.
What am I paying for?
You are paying for the generated software workflow: requirements capture, PRD creation, database and backend generation, frontend generation, deployment path, collaboration capacity, and the ability to keep ownership of the generated code.
Is this no-code?
No. Metatable is not a no-code builder. It generates real application code from a structured specification so you can run it, change it, and export it.
Can I export the source code?
Yes, on Standard and higher. You can run on Metatable infrastructure or move the generated code to your own infrastructure when that makes sense.
Can I use my app from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes, on every plan, including Free. A Metatable backend can run as an MCP server, so ChatGPT, Claude, or another MCP client can call approved tools from your app. You control what is exposed and whether actions are read-only or allowed to change data.
Can I invite collaborators?
Yes, on Pro and Enterprise. Pro includes 10 seats, counting the owner. Enterprise has no seat limit. Free and Standard are one seat, for the owner.
Can my app use its own domain and send email?
Yes, on Pro and Enterprise. You can connect a custom domain to your app and send transactional email, such as confirmations and notifications, from your own sending domain.
What if I need a dedicated instance or human-assisted development?
